No-Fix No-Fee (applies to Home services only)
The No-Fix No-Fee policy applies in the following circumstances.
If the engineer does not possess the necessary technical knowledge or ability to resolve the problem or effect the repair either on-site or in the workshop.

However there will be a charge if one of the following circumstances occurs:

If the engineer has the knowledge and tools necessary to complete the work, either on-site or in the workshop, but is stopped from doing so by the customer at the customer's request then a fee will be chargeable at the usual hourly rate to extend to the amount of time spent up to the point of refusal.
If the engineer can fix the problem but is prevented from doing so by the client not having the correct software the customer will again be charged at the chargeable hourly rate to the extent of the amount of time spent up to the discovery of the lack of software being the cause of the problem.
If the engineer attends and gives a precise diagnosis of the problem/failed component and the customer decides not to proceed then again a fee will be payable at the usual hourly rate to the extent of time spent up to the refusal to proceed.
